Welcome to Countmates. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website www.countmates.com and the accounting and bookkeeping services we offer. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Overview

Countmates offers professional accounting and bookkeeping services for small- and medium-sized businesses in Pakistan. Our services include:

  • Monthly bookkeeping using Bookkeeper software

  • Preparation of monthly financial statements

  • Consultations and support regarding financial records

Clients pay only for our monthly service charges. The software license is managed by us and included at no extra cost to the client.

2. Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 18 years old

  • Are authorized to represent your business

  • Agree to provide accurate and complete information during service registration or consultation requests

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing complete, accurate, and timely financial data

  • Cooperating with our team to ensure smooth service delivery

  • Making payments on time, as agreed

Countmates is not responsible for delays or inaccuracies arising from incomplete or delayed client data.

4. Payments and Pricing

  • All service fees are billed on a monthly basis

  • Clients will be informed of pricing at the time of engagement

  • Payment methods include bank transfers, online payments, or other modes as agreed

Non-payment may result in suspension of services after reasonable notice.

5. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as strictly confidential. Data shared with us is handled securely and is not disclosed to third parties without written consent, except when required by law.

6. Limitation of Liability

Countmates will make every effort to ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping and reporting. However, we shall not be liable for:

  • Losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Any legal or regulatory penalties not caused by our direct fault

7. Termination of Services

Both parties may terminate the service agreement with prior written notice (usually 15 days). Upon termination:

  • All pending dues must be cleared by the client

  • Final reports (if agreed) will be delivered

  • Countmates may retain records as per legal and regulatory requirements

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including logos, text, graphics, and service descriptions, are the property of Countmates and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

9. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our website for any unlawful or harmful purposes

  • Attempt to breach website security

  • Misuse forms or automated tools on the website

We reserve the right to restrict access or take legal action if misuse is detected.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a new “Effective Date.” Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pakistan.
